Custom Stacked 2 Bedroom ADU Rental in Oceanside

This Oceanside project will add two new rental ADUs behind an existing duplex. Because the property is already developed with multiple units, the homeowner can build two detached ADUs under California’s multifamily ADU laws.

The new structure will total 1,411 sqft, with one 706 sqft ADU on the first floor and an identical unit on the second floor. Each ADU includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen and living area are positioned in the center of the floor plan, with a bedroom on either side, each with their own ensuite bath.

Using the same floor plan on both levels creates two practical rental units while making efficient use of the available space behind the duplex.
