Some of our best projects have started with a simple introduction. That’s why we created our referral program as a thank you for helping a friend, neighbor, or client connect with a team they can trust.
When someone you refer builds a detached ADU with us, you’ll earn 1% of the construction contract value—typically $3,000 to $8,000 per project. There’s no cap on how many people you can refer.
Your referral gets rewarded, too: when they kick off Feasibility, you both receive a $100 gift card. When they move forward to construction, they’ll also get $1,000 off their total contract.
💸How It Works
1. Join the Program. Register with just your name & email so we can track your referrals and make sure you get rewarded. No need to be an ADU expert—you just make the connection, and we’ll handle the rest.
2. Refer a Homeowner. Know someone thinking about building a detached ADU on their property? Share your unique link, introduce them via email, or submit their info directly.
3. Earn Rewards. We’ll email you a $100 gift card when your referral kicks off Feasibility, then 1% of the contract when they move forward to construction.

❓Referral Program FAQ
Do I need to be a contractor, realtor, or ADU expert to join?
Not at all. Anyone can become a referral partner. You just need to make the introduction, we’ll handle the rest.
How do I refer someone?
After signing up, you’ll get a unique referral link to share. This link will automatically identify your referrals who use it to complete a project inquiry form.
Who qualifies as a referral?
The person must be new to SnapADU (not already in our system) and interested in building a detached ADU.
When do I get the $100 gift card?
Once your referral signs a Proposal to start Feasibility and they activate their Buildertrend portal.
When do I get the 1% referral bonus?
After your referral moves forward to construction and pays their first construction invoice. Most projects start building about 6–8 months after signing the initial Proposal.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No limit! Refer as many as you’d like. There’s no cap on how much you can earn.
How do I get paid?
We’ll send your $100 gift card by email and pay your referral bonus by check or direct deposit once a W9 is on file.
